Sustainable Relocation, Better Future
Sustainability has always been central to how we operate. For more than 14 years, we’ve worked closely with our trusted suppliers across the world to deliver seamless relocation services—and we want to continue doing so in a way that protects our planet and the people we work with.
The world is changing rapidly, with increasing pressures on costs, climate instability, biodiversity loss, new regulations and the risk of labour exploitation. To continue moving forward responsibly, we recognise the need to make a positive impact—caring for both the environment and the communities we touch.
We know we cannot achieve this alone. That’s why we are investing in our own knowledge while actively collaborating with suppliers, competitors, clients and the wider global mobility industry to accelerate progress on sustainability.
Reducing Carbon Emissions
Carbon reduction remains a key focus following COP26. We fully acknowledge the environmental impact of international shipping and are committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions in several ways:
- Over 50% of emissions come from air freight. We will encourage clients to choose sea freight whenever possible, and we will offset all sea and road shipments we manage.
- We will guide clients to reduce shipment sizes and move only essential household goods.
- Wherever possible, we will select air partners using cleaner fuels.
- We will prioritise partners operating low‑emission or greener vehicles.
- We will choose suppliers who use recyclable or recycled materials, and maintain a no‑plastic, acid‑free printing policy.
- We will use technology to improve efficiency and eliminate unnecessary journeys.
Aqua has committed to offsetting the carbon impact of all road and sea shipments. We are partnering with global projects that both reduce CO₂ emissions and support local communities in developing regions. Details of these initiatives will be shared in our News section.

While reducing emissions and offsetting our carbon footprint is vital, sustainability goes far beyond environmental impact.

Aqua have made the whole move experience extremely smooth and as stress-free as possible. When problems or issues cropped up, they were always on hand to deal with things for us and that central liaison point was invaluable. A great service all round.
