Your move manager coordinates the removals process, communicates with our global removal partners, keeps you updated on progress and deals with any issues that arise along the way.
Whether you’re relocating an employee from London to Singapore, Singapore to Hong Kong or between other international destinations, one person manages the removal process for you. You don’t have to chase different suppliers for updates.

What Do Our International Move Managers Do?
Your International Move Manager oversees the removals process from the initial survey through to delivery. They coordinate the different companies involved, keep everyone informed and remain your main point of contact throughout the move.
Our international move managers and coordinators have all relocated themselves or lived and worked overseas, so they understand the practical, emotional and operational aspects involved in an international move. This first-hand experience helps them anticipate challenges and provide clear communication, proactive updates and practical support throughout the process.
Before Your Move
Your move manager becomes your main point of contact as soon as Aqua receives the moving instructions. They arrange the pre-move survey, explain what will happen at each stage and coordinate the removal quotes.
Moving Your Belongings
Once your move is confirmed, your move manager coordinates the removal partner, packing arrangements, collection dates, shipping and other practical requirements. They also manage communication between the different parties involved.
During Transit
Your move manager keeps track of the move and remains your point of contact while your belongings are being transported. They coordinate customs clearance, temporary storage, and other logistical requirements as part of the wider move.
At Delivery
Your move manager stays involved through delivery and is available to help resolve any issues that arise, so you’re not left trying to work out which company to contact.

Your move manager arranges one comprehensive pre-move survey, which is used to obtain three like-for-like quotations from Aqua’s vetted removal partners.
Rather than arranging multiple surveys and dealing with different removal companies yourself, your Aqua move manager coordinates the process and presents the options for comparison.
Global Partner Network
Aqua does not need to operate its own removal crews in every country to manage an international move effectively. Instead, we work with a global network of vetted removal partners.
Our network includes companies accredited by industry organisations, including BAR, FIDI Global Alliance and OMNI.
Protection Throughout Your Move
Your belongings can pass through several stages during an international move, including packing, transportation, customs and temporary storage. Aqua’s MoveProtect provides protection against loss or damage to eligible belongings throughout the journey, including while items are in transit and in temporary storage.
